The clinical application of surgical clothes and surgical scarves
Nov 28, 2022
In the process of clinical medical operation, infection is a common and unavoidable problem in the medical industry. The blood, aerosol and dust formed by suspended fiber chips in the air during the operation may become the carrier of various bacteria. If they accidentally fall on the patient's important tissues and organs during the operation, they will cause infection. Therefore, the disinfection instruments and consumables used in the operation are also making continuous progress in the fight against infection.
In many years of clinical practice, surgical gowns and surgical scarves have been gradually accepted. During the operation, sterile surgical tissue shall be used to prevent contact with the unprepared surface and keep the environmental surface, equipment and patient's surrounding environment sterile. Similarly, during surgery, medical personnel wear sterile surgical gowns to maintain a sterile surgical environment and reduce the risk of pathogen transmission to patients and medical personnel.
Surgical hole towel
The water repellency and pore size of the fabrics used in the surgical gown and surgical hole towel affect the blood permeability and are conducive to the performance of the surgical gown. No matter what materials are used to make surgical gowns, they must be able to resist the penetration of liquids and microorganisms. In addition, surgical gowns of different sizes are provided to ensure that all medical personnel have appropriate coverage.
During surgery, if the protective material becomes wet, the risk of pathogen transmission increases. Therefore, the multi-purpose or single purpose materials of surgical scarves and surgical gowns used in surgery should prevent liquid penetration. Reusable materials usually consist of different tightly woven textiles and/or knitted cotton, or other fabrics that may be blended with polyester and/or chemically treated. These products must be durable, processed and treated many times to provide protection. Disposable surgical scarves and gowns usually consist of synthetic and/or natural sources of nonwoven materials, which may be combined with chemical treatment.
