Surgical gown wearing method

1. Wearing traditional sterile surgical clothes: After the operators wash their hands, disinfect and air dry, take out the sterile surgical clothes from the opened sterile surgical clothes bag. Grasp the two corners of the collar with both hands, facing towards yourself, find a spacious place to fully shake it away, look at the entrance of the sleeve, throw it up slightly, quickly extend your hands into the sleeve, and lift your arms straight forward. With the help of the itinerant nurse, tighten the belt at the back, extend your hands out of the cuffs, and the itinerant nurse will further fasten the collar and back straps, cross your hands to lift the belt, and the itinerant nurse will take the belt in the back and help to fasten it.

2. Wearing bag back type sterile surgical gown: The dressing method of bag back type sterile surgical gown is basically the same as above, except that when the operator puts on the surgical gown and wears sterile gloves, the instrument nurse will pass the belt to the operator to tie it, and the back page of the bag back type surgical gown covers the part behind the operator to make his back sterile.

[Precautions]

After wearing the surgical gown, put your hands half out in front of your chest to avoid touching people or objects around you. Do not put your hands under your armpit, lift them above your shoulder or lower them below your waist.
